Project information may be entered into the laboratory data management system before samples are actually received.  Upon arrival at the laboratory, samples are logged into the Laboratory Sample Control Database.

A room temperature storage is located next to the metals analyses area.  All water samples for metals analysis that may be stored at room temperature are placed in this designated area. If necessary, they are stored in the refrigerator maintained at 4 ± 2 degrees C.
